The Lake Mead National Park Service has confirmed that a 22-year-old male was killed in a motorcycle accident near Lake Mead.
The accident happened at 9:19 a.m. Sunday on the Callville Bay Access Road near the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
National Park Service Rangers responded and found the man 75 feet off the road down an embankment where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate speed as a contributing factor to the accident.
