LAS VEGAS -- A 23-year-old man accused of plowing a speeding car into a crowded Las Vegas bus stop on his way home from a bar last week appeared before a judge Friday morning on felony driving under the influence charges.
Bail for Gary Lee Hosey Jr. was set at $4 million. Some family members of the victims were in the courtroom to watch the arraignment.
Four people died in the crash and Hosey was among the eight people injured in the Sept. 13 crash.
A police report says blood tests show Hosey had marijuana and a little less than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood two hours after the crash.
The district attorney's criminal complaint says blood tests showed Hosey over the legal limit. Prosecutor Brian Rutledge says that shows Hosey was impaired two different ways.
Hosey's lawyers say they've identified problems with the blood test and the police investigation.
Hosey's preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 19, 2012.
Gary Lee Hosey is accused of plowing a speeding car into a crowded Las Vegas bus stop.
