Police Continue Hunt For Man's Killer

LAS VEGAS – Metro Police are asking for the public's help in gathering information on a man found killed on Los Feliz Street last month.

The man was identified as Daniel Dean Way, 19, of Las Vegas. When his body was found, it was clad only in boxer briefs and both hands had been cut off. His hands have not been found.

Previously, police had released photos of Way's tattoos and a photograph of the slain man.

Police are also looking for a silver or gray late model Chevrolet or GMC extended cab four-wheel drive pickup truck with a raised suspension and loud exhaust. The pickup was seen leaving Los Feliz and Bonanza Road, where Way's body was found, at 4 a.m. the day of the killing.

Police released the additional information in an attempt of learning where he lived, any previous employers, family, friends or associates, and his activities leading to his death on Aug. 17.
