LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner has identified the man involved in Sunday's attempted robbery of a Dairy Queen with a samurai sword as 36-year-old Bong Pak.

The cause of death was gunshot wounds to the torso. The coroner has ruled the manner of death as a homicide. Metro Police say Pak tried to rob the Dairy Queen on Maryland Parkway and Karen Avenue just after 12:19 p.m. Police say a clerk fired at the suspect a total of two times.

Police say the shooting appears to be in self defense. No charges have been filed against the clerk at this time.
