LAS VEGAS -- Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at a senior apartment complex at 2701 Clark Towers near Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard Thursday afternoon, Las Vegas Fire spokesman Tim Syzmanski said.

He said the fire has been extinguished and crews are checking on residents who were evacuated to make sure they are OK.

The fire was ruled accidental and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department. The fire was contained to one apartment and firefighters extinguished it in less than a minute. 

Damage is estimated at $15,000.
