Brian Brennan joined the 8 News NOW team in July 2012 and is thrilled to be part of the Las Vegas community.

Before Channel 8, Brian worked as the morning reporter for KNDU in the Tri-Cities, Washington. During his time there Brian was a jack-of-all-trades. He ran and operated a live-truck and gained experience in just about every position in the newsroom. His old boss said Brian was a critical member of the team, filling in to anchor for weather, news, and sports whenever he was needed.

Brian says one of the many reasons he's happy to be in Vegas is the heat! He grew up in Phoenix and feels at home when it's over 100 degrees. He also loves knowing it's only a five hour drive to visit his family.

Brian graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. Brian likes hiking, biking, running, and getting outside whenever possible
