LAS VEGAS -- There have been 22 cases of pertussis reported in Clark County since the beginning of the year, according to the Southern Nevada Health District.

Seven of the cases were in children under the age of one. The health district is reminding parents, health care providers, and child care providers to receive the vaccine.

Children attending school in Clark County must be immunized before they can attend kindergarten and prior to entering 7th grade.
