If you foreclosed in 2009 or 2010, you may be eligible for an independent review of your experience, and that could mean cash for you.
To qualify, you had to use one of the more than 20 participating lenders. Big names are part of this like Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Countrywide, just to name a few.
Your mortgage loan also had to be active in the foreclosure process between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
Finally, the property had to be your primary residence.
If you qualify, the reviewers will look for errors and problems that may have occurred during your foreclosure. If they find something you may get some money. There is no guarantee how much you could get, or how long this review process could take, but the money is up for grabs.
More than 4 million people could qualify for the review but so far less than 4 percent of folks have applied.
Time is running out.
The deadline to request a review is July 31st.
You can apply for a review here: https://independentforeclosurereview.com/

Finally, if you are getting a review, I'd love to know what your experience is like.
