PAHRUMP, Nev. -- Nye County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a teacher's aide for unlawful sexual conduct between school employee and pupil, open and gross lewdness, and unlawful use of a minor as a subject of sexual portrayal.
Police say 31-year-old Amanda McGough admitted to having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student.
Police say McGough also exchanged explicit photos with the student over email.
McGough was an aide and substitute teacher at Pahrump Valley High School and Rosemary Clark Middle School. The incidents did not happen on school property.
McGough was placed under arrest and booked into the Nye County Detention Center in Pahrump. Her bail was set at $12,500.00.
