Scientists have discovered that exercise enables your muscle cells to make protein instead of fat, and it happens right away after about one hour of exercise.
Researchers in Stockholm took cell samples from the thighs of eight men, before and after exercise. They found the cells were undergoing "epi-genetic" changes..
The eight exercisers were ordinarily very sedentary.
The take-away is that exercise almost immediately enables your body to fight fat and make protein.
