LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities say the January death of an ex-convict in custody at the Clark County jail was from natural causes.
The Clark County coroner's office said Friday that 51-year-old Ona Sean Grimes died of emphysema, and an autopsy also found arterial disease and evidence of alcohol abuse.
Police say Grimes died about 12:05 a.m. Jan. 14 at the jail from what appeared to have been a medical episode.
The coroner reported nothing immediately suspicious about the death.
Records showed that Grimes had previous drug conspiracy, stolen property and theft convictions.
