LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a 6-year-old boy Wednesday morning.
According to police, the boy was crossing the street near Nellis Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue with his brothers. When he got to the median, he thought he could make it the rest of the way but was hit by a car.
The driver stopped, helped brush the boy off and then left the scene. The boy suffered only minor injuries. Police are looking for the driver of the car. They have no other description of the car other than it was a gray convertible.
