LAS VEGAS -- The man accused of a DUI accident that killed a 12-year-old girl on Halloween night has been given bail but must remain on house arrest.

Police say Justin Caramanica was under the influence of prescription drugs and alcohol when his speeding car hit and killed Faith Love as she was trick-or-treating with friends.

Caramanica was in court for his arraignment Friday morning. He told the court he is on disability and was taking pain medication for a slip and fall accident.

Justice of Peace Eric Goodman told Caramanica that he will be on house arrest, must wear an alcohol sensor bracelet and can't drive. Caramanica's bond was set at $100,000. He must pay $10,000 cash to make bail. His attorney says Caramanica will plead not guilty to the charges.

Goodman set the next court date for Nov. 10.
