LAS VEGAS -- No injuries and no serious damage have been reported after thunderstorms and rain showers swept through the Las Vegas area, prompting a flash flood warning for roads, underpasses and washes that are normally dry.

The National Weather Service reported storms early Tuesday dumped heavy rain in some areas. Arroyo Grande Sports Park, the Black Mountain area, Railroad Pass, Gibson and US 95, and Anthem all received more than one inch of rain.
