Posted: Updated:

Twin sisters and their brother make up the Wednesday's Child sibling set for today.   They're too young to be living without a permanent family, so we're hoping someone watching now will step forward to adopt.

At the park, Arlee and his two sisters found no lack of youthful enthusiasm for the most simple playthings...   6-yr old Arlee blowing  bubbles... 4 year old Zanay with football, and 4 year old Yanay with soccer... Or is it Zanay with soccer, and Yanay with football...

I confess I frequently got them mixed up... But those who know them well claim they are very much individuals..

"There's a strong bond, they, uh, Arlee is the older brother, but Zanay is kinda bossy (laughs)...she runs the show," admits Constance, an Adoption Recruiter for the County's Division of Family Services.

While trying to explain the finer points of a yo-yo to the twin sisters, I came to find out that these kids are determined and resilient.....despite a disappointing childhood.

"The strange and mysterious thing about kids is that they are flexible, they're very flexible, and that's why it's so important to keep them together," says Constance.

Right now the two sisters are living in a separate foster home from their brother... Not perfect, but they're doing well.

"Yes, they're doing well in school....and they're in a stable environment... Both of them are in strong foster families right now, and they see each other a lot... And that helps...that helps the stability," explains Constance.

These three need a loving home as soon as possible.

"They're adorable, they're little, they need a lot of love, they need a strong family, they need a committed family, they need structure, they need somebody to take 'em right now," adds Constance.

Arlee, Zanay and Yanay are precious...and free 'n' clear for adoption.

To begin the approval process now, call the local office of the Adoption Exchange at 436-6335...
