LAS VEGAS -- High school seniors planning to go to college could get some financial help with a scholarship.
The Public Education Foundation plans to award more than 360 scholarships totaling around $600,000. The scholarships will range from $500 to $40,000.
"These scholarships make an enormous difference for so many graduating seniors who wish to continue learning," said Judi Steele, president of the Foundation.
Interested students can get an application online and may apply for more than one scholarship. Applications must be postmarked by March 7, 2011. Applicants must also deliver their applications to the Foundation's office at 3360 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 160, Las Vegas.
The scholarships are provided by businesses, community leaders, and individuals.
