An outgoing 12-yr-old is this week's Wednesday's Child. Dave Courvoisier reports that "Essence" is very clear about wanting a forever home.
All the many things to do at Gamworks, but essence wanted to play air hockey...
This is a young girl with a lot of energy, and plenty of talent.
"I'm really outstanding person. I like getting along with everybody loved hanging out with people love playing games with other people and stuff," admits Essence honestly.
Essence likes to sing, she sings in choir at middle school, and likes all her classes. She also likes horses.
"I would actually like to be a horse trainer," admits Essence.
Essence is not worried that her peers will know she's a foster child.
"I think she's courageous. I think she has a lot of courage. I think that she will do well with the right instructions but yet it took a lot of courage to step forward and to be able to talk candidly like she did. Kids that come into the system. They normally have gone through a lot, and she has gone through a lot. She's strong and she has survived a lot but because of her issue," says Constance; Essence's adoption recruiter.
Any adoptive home would be considered, but essence is hoping to be an only child.
"And sometimes if you have three or four kids you're not able to divide your time is much. I think she has a lot of energy and I think she will need a lot of time with her parents to develop," explains Constance.
Essence is free and clear for adoption.
