LAS VEGAS -- A man is under arrest after school police officers found six guns in his vehicle which was parked on school property.
The incident happened between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. at Morris Sunset High School. Clark County School District Police spokesman Lt. Ken Young said 38-year-old Chad Mathies told officers that he had pulled over to rest.
The officers found four long guns and two unregistered handguns in the car. None of the guns were loaded.
Mathies is facing charges of having a gun on school property.
