LAS VEGAS -- Federal Labor Secretary Hilda Solis says she's returning to Las Vegas to stump for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and motivate Hispanic voters who could decide the tight U.S. Senate race.
Solis was in Las Vegas in September. She tells The Associated Press she'll be back on Saturday to rally for Reid and urge Hispanics to vote for Democrats.
Solis is the daughter of parents from Nicaragua and Mexico. She says Hispanics shouldn't support Republican Sharron Angle because Angle doesn't support letting illegal immigrants become legal residents.
Angle and Reid have both reached out to Hispanic voters, with mixed results. Reid tried to pass immigration reform in the Senate, but failed. Angle angered Hispanic leaders with an ad that bashes illegal immigration and features Mexican men.
