Nevada Receives Good Marks for Releasing Child Death Information

Posted: Updated:

LAS VEGAS -- Nevada is one of two states nationwide that's earning high marks for its release of information related to child abuse deaths.

A new report titled "State Secrecy and Child Deaths in the U.S." gives the Silver State an "A" grade for its compliance with federal disclosure laws.

Nevada and New Hampshire require the release of key information when a child dies or is substantially injured as the result of abuse or neglect.
