AMARGOSA VALLEY, Nev. - The Nevada State Health Division is telling an Amargosa Valley grease rendering plant to completely stop all operations.
The I-Team has learned the Health Division sent a cease and desist letter to A Honey Wagon, which is operated by Michael Kostelac.
Neighbors have been complaining for years about the awful smell coming out of the plant. They also complained that Kostelac did not get all the required permits to run the grease plant, including a health permit.
Several other state agencies are also looking at possible environmental violations by A Honey Wagon.
