LAS VEGAS -- Passenger volume at McCarran International Airport has dropped again for a seven-month decline this year at the Las Vegas airfield.
The Clark County Department of Aviation says the passenger count fell 1.1 percent last month. There were 3,518,217 passengers in July compared to 3,557,509 passengers in July 2009.
Since January, aviation department spokesman Chris Jones says there's been a 2.7 percent decline in passenger volume compared to the same period last year. McCarran has had 23,132,045 passengers this year compared to 23,781,599 during the first seven months of 2009.
