LAS VEGAS -- Most people would have given up on a little dog named Donnie. But not the SPCA. Donnie has a severe birth defect and was rescued from a backyard breeder.
Donnie is a one-and-a-half year old Chihuahua with no front legs. The SPCA is working with the Prosthetic Center of Excellence to build him two limbs. He may be a two legged dog -- but he's got a huge heart!
Donnie is currently in foster care. His adoption will be considered a special needs adoption because he will require physical therapy and an experienced owner who will be home most of the time.
Those interested in being notified when Donnie is ready for adoption can contact Nevada SPCA by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 702-873-SPCA (7722).
