The all-American hot dog and other processed meats we love to eat can raise your risk of diabetes and heart disease.
Harvard researchers discovered that just a 2 ounce serving of hot dogs, bacon, sausage or processed deli meats raises the risk for heart disease by 42 percent, and the risk for diabetes by 19 percent.

They say, if you keep yourself to just one serving of processed meat per week, you will increase your risk of those diseases only slightly.
