LAS VEGAS, Nv -- The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the next two nights in the Las Vegas area.
The Weather Service says gusty north winds will bring a cold and very dry air mass into the Mojave Desert on Thursday. Temperatures in some areas of southern Clark County are expected to drop below freezing overnight.
Forecasters predict more widespread freezing temperatures on Friday night.
Officials said crops and other sensitive vegetation will be at risk of freezing, and that pets and delicate plants should be brought indoors.
