Lawyers Uncover More Hepatitis C Cases

Posted: Updated:

Lawyers suing the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada say they've found a new cluster of hepatitis C cases that they say originated at the clinic.

The discovery could affect a massive lawsuit stemming from the outbreak. So far, southern Nevada public health officials say nine people were infected and 105 more may have contracted hepatitis C on two dates.

In court papers filed Tuesday, plaintiffs' lawyers said they believe the virus was transmitted to at least three patients on another date in March 2007.
