A court battle is getting in the way of Las Vegas' planned mob museum. Now it may not open when Mayor Oscar Goodman expected it to.
"Before yesterday's brouhaha, we had anticipated from all reports that I got that a year from now it was going to be open to the public," he said.
Two contractors are fighting over the $11.5 million contact to build the museum. The contract was set to be given to Apco Construction Wednesday, but after a protest was filed by Flagship Construction Company, the contract won't be awarded or discussed until July 1, 2009.
