Metro police have made an arrest in the beating and robbery of Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker. Police say Arfat Fadel will be charged with robbery and assault.

Police did not recover any money or jewelry and say Walker entered the suspects' vehicle on his own.

The photo on the left is of a person of interest police also want to talk to. Walker was beaten up and robbed last week.

"Mr. Walker was in town to have a good time as many other visitors do, as he will readily admit he probably had too much to drink and didn't pick up on the clues Mr. Fidel was someone he probably should not have been with," said Lt. Clint Nichols of Metro.

"We are unsure why, what we do know is he got into the vehicle on his own, assumed these people were friendly and responsible. Unfortunately they turned out not to be," he said.

Police say Walker had been parting since 9 p.m. Sunday -- Father's Day -- the night before he was found beaten and robbed. Some pictures of Walker were taken of him partying and spraying Champagne on club goers.

There were some reports of the suspect approaching Walker at his room in the Bellagio, then kidnapping him and robbing him. Metro says Walker never told them this. It appears to have been a rumor.
