Fight Developing for Over Station Casinos' Buyout

Posted: Updated:

A fight is developing for control of Stations Casinos.

Right now, the company is publicly owned but the Fertitta family, which founded Station Casinos and has the controlling stake, would like to take it private.

They're offering $82 a share. However, an investment group that advises shareholders says that price is inadequate.

CTW Investments Group says company holding and future business opportunities were undervalued. It says Station Casinos stock is worth at least $97 a share.

CTW is calling for the offer to be rejected.
