Pepcon Explosion: 25 Years Later

The PEPCON explosion rocked the Las Vegas valley on May 4, 1988 killing two people, injuring hundreds of others and causing tens of millions of dollars in damage. The series of chemical explosions at what was then the Pacific Engineering & Production Co., a rocket fuel booster plant, was among the most powerful to have happened in the United States during the post World War II era. 8 News NOW has compiled stories that were done the year following the explosion as well as recent stories looking back at the event.
