Why should you be elected?: Simply put, I am an independent thinker and a reform-minded individual. In this age of government by focus group, Washington needs a maverick or 10 more than ever.

What is the most pressing issue facing the area you would represent, and what will you do about it?: Campaign finance reform. The political process must be given back to the people. Steps must be taken to ensure they know there are real choices in virtually every race. Campaign financial contributions should be limited to individuals only. I also support leveling the playing field for all candidates by reinstating the Equal Time doctrine in media.

Additional comments:

  • Protection of individual rights and civil liberties
  • Encourage and stimulate economic growth and diversity in Nevada while maintaining the environment
  • Ensure Congress works for working people, not just the wealthy
