Southern Nevadans have always been generous when Channel 8 asks them to give, and this time was no exception.
KLAS teamed up with the Red Cross and our Community Pride partners to help the people suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and we want to thank all the Southern Nevadans who were able to donate so generously.
Friday was the last day of the KLAS Phone Bank. If you could not get through and would still like to make a donation to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, click here to donate to the Red Cross Hurricane Disaster Relief Fund online.
Volunteers raised $528,500 for the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Thank you again Southern Nevada for your generosity!!!!!
