Final Centennial Blast

Las Vegas has thrown it's final Centennial celebration.

On Saturday more than 50,000 people lined up to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. But not all were from Las Vegas, some were from Tennessee, even Cleveland, Ohio. But each concert goer had something in common, they had to beat the heat.

From bottled water showers to umbrellas under the sun, they tried their best to stay cool in the triple digit temps. "I figures at least while we were standing in line, I know you can't take them in, but we can at least be under the shade while we're in line," says concer goer Lalonnie D'Antonia.

Southwest Ambulance provided ice and water to those waiting in line, but when the band took the stage the heat and waiting didn't matter. Concer goers say it was all worth the wait.
