And nearly 50,000 free tickets to Las Vegas' 100th Birthday Bash on July 2 were gone within 15 minutes according to Ticketmaster who managed the online distribution through the vegasrocks100 website.
Top alternative-rock act Weezer will open the concert.
The free live outdoor concert will be on the grounds of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The event will be hosted by LVCVA as part of the yearlong Las Vegas Centennial celebration.
