Professional Gambler Teaches Video Poker Secrets

(July 21) -- Gamblers come to Las Vegas to take a chance at winning big, but in the end it's usually the casino that ends up with the cash. One man has made his fortune off having an advantage over the big guys. He says you can beat the casino too.

Hitting a jackpot is all a matter of luck! There's nothing you can do, no ritual you can preform to ensure you'll win big. There's absolutely no skill involved in slot games; that is unless you're playing video poker.

While strategy isn't something we can explain in a few minutes, we can tell you there's a way to increase your chances by simply sitting down at the right machine and looking at the "pay schedule." Pay schedules tell you how much you get for every winning hand. It's different for every machine and every game but you always want to look in the same place, at the one coin pay line. It's no secret. You just have to know where to look and what to look for.

Dancer says "when they're playing on good machines good things can happen, when they're playing on poor pay schedules they have no long term chance. "They might hit a royal today but when you're playing thousands of hours the casino is going to be way ahead of them."

Here's how it works. We'll use the game Deuces Wild. The key numbers you are looking for are 5 for 4-of-a-kind and 15 for 5-of-a-kind. If you play the max number of coins, those numbers indicate a pay out of 100.76 percent. It's as simple as memorizing what the good numbers and bad numbers are for each game. In the game "Jacks or Better," you pinpoint the pay out on a full house and flush. When the numbers are 9/6 your return will be 99.54 percent. But if the numbers are 8/6, your return drops to 98.39 percent.
