Matrix Reloaded Preview
Just four years after taking movie-goers by storm, the first of two sequels to the movie, "The Matrix," explodes into theatres next week. Man and machine square off once again in the matrix reloaded. Directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski, the second installment in the franchise features familiar characters as well as some fresh faces. To prepare for the intricate fight sequences, stars underwent four months of martial arts instruction, training so intense that Carrie-Anne Moss, who plays Trinity, suffered a broken leg. Tinsel Town as we speak is getting a first-look at the film. A red carpet debut is going on right now in Hollywood. However, you have to wait until next Thursday.

The Who's Pete Townshend Cleared of Kiddie Porn Charges -- Sort Of
Legendary rock guitaritst, Pete Townshend, is off the hook legally, but it looks like he'll still have to do some time. The co-founder of the rock band, The Who, has been cleared on charges of possession of child pornography. But the rock star will have to spend the next five years on britain's sex offender registry. Townshend was arrested back in January as part of a crackdown on child porn. A federal investigation found townshend had accessed a site containing child porn, but that he hadn't downloaded any of the images. Townshend, who says he was sexually abused as a child, claims he was entering the site to do research for an autobiography.

Oprah Extends Reign On Daytime TV
She may be gearing up for a move to Channel 8, but she's apparently not ready to give up her crown just yet. The queen of daytime talk, Oprah Winfrey, is close to signing a deal that would keep her on the air until 2008. Winfrey had earlier said she would end her long run in the world of daytime talk in 2006. Meantime, Winfrey is expected to make the jump to channel 8 next September.

Miss Universe Contestants To Present Doctors' Notes
Well, if these girl's want to walk away with a crown, they'll first have to get a doctor's note. Panama City is hosting the Miss Universe pagent. The mayor there says before entering the contest, each woman will have to present a certified doctors note proving she doesn't have SARS. The documents will be collected by anti-SARS specialists at the airport upon each contestant's arrival.

Justin Timberlake -- Sports Reporter
N'sync's Justine timberlake can add sports reporter to his entertainment resume. Timberlake is joining Turner Sports as a special correspondent. He'll contribute features and make appearances on a variety of the network's sports programs including NBA events, NASCAR and professional golf tournaments.
