LAS VEGAS -- President Barack Obama will head west this week to campaign for Democratic senators facing tough re-election. He will arrive in Las Vegas on Thursday night.
Obama will hold events Friday with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid where they are expected to talk about jobs and the economy. Despite Reid's leadership position in the Senate, he is facing increasingly difficult re-election prospects.
This is Obama's second trip to Las Vegas since winning the election. He visited in May and spoke with democratic supporters and toured a solar plant at Nellis Air Force Base.
