(March 4) -- The remote Mojave Desert town of Amboy California (Population 7) is still for sale. The town has been used in many movies, and is located on historic Route 66.
The town has been up for sale since October but no one has purchased this town with an asking price of $1.9 million. Now Timothy White and Walt Wilson intend to list the town on eBay later this week.
The town includes a post office, motel, cafe, gas station, church, gift shop, 2 landing strips, 4 antique vehicles and about 540 acres of surrounding land divided into 5 noncontiguous parcels.
