Reporter George Knapp, a long-time investigative reporter for Eyewitness News, and photojournalist Matt Adams have won a coveted Peabody Award for their half-hour special, Crossfire: Water, Power and Politics.

The judges had this to say about Knapp and Adam's winning entry, "This network-quality documentary by Las Vegas' CBS affiliate was a brave, meticulous examination of a plan to pipe massive amounts of water from rural Nevada to booming Sin City and the potential consequences for ranchers, farmers, Native Americans and the environment."

Photojournalist Alex Brauer and producer Ian Russell also contributed to the piece.
